Further Information
In an Alice in Wonderland inversion, sense of scale and functionality are turned upside down. This massively outsize teacup and saucer are covered with glazed imagery, including elements of Adelaide architecture - Colonel Light?s statue, the Elder rotunda, JamFactory, SA Museum Arch, Queen?s Chamber, etc - while Alice herself can be seen attending to a wheelie bin while listening to music on her ipod shuffle. The theme of water scarcity is suggested by the tap and a profusion of water tanks, while Alice again is seen kneeling beside a bluestone villa as she selectively adds yet another corrugated iron water tank.
