A red lacquered Chinoiserie two drawer commode with gilt metal mounts.

Circa 1960    Original marble top.   Maker Zapiahe Athens Greece.

 

A rare pair of 19th Century French Sevres porcelain and ormolu lidded vases which convert to candelabra. The porcelain bodies are handpainted with a romantic scene of a courting couple in the French countryside. The reverse painted with a village scene.

Set into the top of each vase is a finely cast ormolu finial which is reversible into a candelabra.

Supported on cast bronze and gilded pedestal. Signed by the artist E Sillier Circa 1860 h. 25 cm

 

A 1920s French Art Deco coldpainted figure of a young woman          kneeling on an alabaster base. Original condition. Circa 1920
