Resale Royalty and the Collector

An exhibition with a focus to provide information on the ramifications of the recently introduced Resale Royalty. It features works by artists in 5 categories. 1.Works by deceased artists unaffected by the Resale Royalty such as ”’John Paterson”’, ”’Penleigh Boyd”’ among others 2.Deceased artists where the Resale Royalty becomes extinguished in 12 years, like ”’Arthur Streeton”’, and others 3.Works affected by the Resale Royalty for the next 30 to 70 years, artists like ”’Sidney Nolan”’, ”’Howard Arkley”’, amongst others. 4.Works by living artists. 5.Artists whose work is under the $1000 threshold. As part of the exhibition an information session with Michael Fox of Lowenstein Arts Management, will be held on ”’Saturday 21 August at 2.30 pm”’ – bookings are essential.
