Along with the totemic figures of two white cockatoos, the key element in this work is the intensely detailed botanical study of interlocked and intertwined eucalyptus leaves, branches and gum nuts. Representing the complexity and inextricable linked relationships of the natural world they are contrasted with the fragmentary elements that float in the void of the chaotic background.
