Further Information

This painting depicts sacred sites created by the Tingari men at Kaakuratinta (Lake Macdonald). The red line represents bush fire. Aboriginal people have been lighting these bush fires in their land to regenerate new life. In mythological times, a large group of Tingari men visited this site before continuing their journey further east.
