Janet Green has made the combination of landscape and the still life her own. She has travelled widely seeking inspiration for her superbly detailed landscapes in the coasts, hills, and plains of Australia. The landscape in turn stimulates the choice of still life, the objects reflecting the colour, shape and texture of the land rather than being derived from the area itself.
