In a reserve, against a cross-hatched and shadowy blue willow background, two cockatoos sit amidst a complex ground of botanical forms. Some of the forms being further camouflaged by having their silhouette in-filled with sections of William Morris wall paper patterns documented in Morris & Co Designs & Patterns, published by the Art Gallery of South Australia 2003. Exclaiming in the background, RB Clarke’s comic character, the ‘idiot savant’ Boofhead, can be seen, steering his craft, starless, amongst the Willow harbour.
