Biography

Echo is a Chinese Australian multidisciplinary artist currently based in Melbourne. She graduated from the prestigious Peking University in 1988 before migrating to Australia in 1989. Her work spans a wide range of creative activities and forms of expression, including painting, writing, video, and curation.

As a visual artist and published columnist, Echo's practice delves into the intersection between art and language. Her work is dedicated to connecting and bringing together Australian and Chinese cultures and arts, exploring different ways to push the boundaries of art forms.

Her work has been widely exhibited in Australia and is held in private and public collections across both Australia and China.
