"In Friday Night, 1988 Pasquale Giardino pursued a less mythological approach than was taken in Greed, producing a documentary-style work which depicted his late-night encounters, out on the town. Included is the drug taker, pinned to the ground by his addiction, the Hells Angels revving-up before trying their chance against death, and the prostitutes out on the search for clientele. Associated is Albert Tucker's Images of Modern Evil, and specifically, a precursor to the series, entitled Pick Up, 1941."
